Orphan Heart
Since our concept of God as Father is so closely related to our concept of our earthly father, we can develop an orphan heart toward God. We struggle to connect with Him as Father and tend to connect with Him only as a master or Lord. Remember when the prodigal returned to the Father in Luke 15? He requested to be received back as a servant but the Father would not have it, He desired the relationship of a son. He desires the same for you.
