Sighing PDF Print

Sighing

The warmth of the sun, the cool mountain breeze

The rustling movement of leaves on the trees

Spring waters rolling gently over the rocks

Off come the shoes, then off come the socks

Tension and stress, life’s heat and its angst

Washed cooly away between peaceful banks

As feet settle deeply in the soft mountain bed

Heaviness oozes as tensions are shed

Soaking in life, heaving a sigh

Coming alive without having to try

getting feet wet
